Nitinol Tube
Nitinol shape memory alloy is composed of nearly equal atomic nickel and titanium (i.e. 50:50 at% nickel and titanium), with excellent superplastic and shape memory properties, as well as excellent characteristics of biocompatibility, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high damping, etc., thus becoming a key material in the field of vascular, orthopedics, spine, urology and dentistry. Applications range from neurovascular stents and heart valve frames to orthopedic nails and disposable suture threading devices.

- OD range:0.20-15.0 mm;
- WT range:0.025-3.0 mm;
- Good uniformity and consistency of wall thickness;
- Grain size ≥8;
- Smooth surface: Ra≤ 0.4μm on the outer surface, Ra≤ 0.6μm on the inner surface;
- High material purity: loose and metal inclusions ≤ 12.0 um; loose and non-metallic inclusions area percentage ≤ 0.5 percent;
- Excellent fatigue resistance, can be used for interventional catheters, valve stents, peripheral stents, neurointerventional stents, etc
Material Properties
- Super elasticity: It can withstand great deformation and restore its original state in the body, which is several times that of other metals.
- Shape memory effect: It can automatically recover from a deformed state to a pre-set shape at a specific temperature.
- Excellent biocompatibility: Good compatibility with human tissues, less likely to cause rejection or allergic reactions.
- Good flexibility: The pipe is soft and easy to pass through tortuous and narrow human blood vessels or cavities.
- Fatigue resistance: able to withstand cyclic loads for a long time without easily breaking, with a long service life.
- Magnetic resonance compatibility: It will not move or generate heat in a magnetic field, and can safely undergo nuclear magnetic resonance examination.
- High corrosion resistance: It can resist the corrosion of human body fluids and maintain long-term stability.
