Nitinol Tube

Nitinol shape memory alloy is composed of nearly equal atomic nickel and titanium (i.e. 50:50 at% nickel and titanium), with excellent superplastic and shape memory properties, as well as excellent characteristics of biocompatibility, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high damping, etc., thus becoming a key material in the field of vascular, orthopedics, spine, urology and dentistry. Applications range from neurovascular stents and heart valve frames to orthopedic nails and disposable suture threading devices.

Product Features

Raw materials comply with standard ASTM F2063&GB 24627
• OD range:0.20-15.0 mm;
• WT range:0.025-3.0 mm;
• Good uniformity and consistency of wall thickness;
• Grain size ≥8;
• Smooth surface: Ra≤ 0.4μm on the outer surface, Ra≤ 0.6μm on the inner surface;
• High material purity: loose and metal inclusions ≤ 12.0 um; loose and non-metallic inclusions area percentage ≤ 0.5 percent;
• Excellent fatigue resistance, can be used for interventional catheters, valve stents, peripheral stents, neurointerventional stents, etc。
